Brighton, Co., October 28, 2004. Ben Epel, a sophomore at Cherry Creek High School, grabs some crutches to send to Israel. Cherry Creek High School students in the newly-formed C.U.R.E Club helped load $400.000 worth of donated medical supplies and equipment on Thursday (10-28-04) to be shipped to the Yad Sarah organization in Jerusalem. The students are working with Project C.U.R.E., a Denver-based non-profit humanitarian relief agency that collects medical surplus and donates it to developing countries.
