(4/16/04 DENVER, CO.) Westbury Park, at 10001 W. Burgundy Dr., was rededicated today to the memory of Kyle Velasquez, who was killed at Columbine High School five years ago when he was 16. Kyle's parents Phyllis and Al were there, and a few other people with the Foothills Parks and Recreation agency. They erected a stone with a plaque near the picnic tables and are adding a sign with Kyle's name to the bottom of the Westbury Park sign already in place. Ken Burton, with ASI MODULEX, waits for Al and Phyllis Velasquez to come and look at the sign that he will put up n the park on Monday. They are accompanied by Gary Ramos from Foothills Parks and Recreation. (PHOTO BY JUDY WALGREN/ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS)
