(DENVER, Co., SHOT 9/28/2004) Colorado School of the Deaf and Blind football players watch the hands of head coach Joe Manson as he signs out the team's pre-game pep talk before playing Front Range Christian from Littleton on the Colorado School of the Deaf and Blind's campus in Colorado Springs. Both Manson and the assistant coach, Richard Williams, are deaf and the entire team communicates by sign language. All team members have at least a degree of hearing loss and is aided in the snap count by a large drum to help with the cadence on the snap count. They fought hard all game long, even into the fourth quarter when they were down 42-0, but fell to Front Range Christian 48-12. (Photo by MARC PISCOTTY / ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS)
