(HUGO, Colo., March 10, 2005) - Native grasses grow to a natural state on an expansive 11,000 acre ranch, until recently, owned by Colorado Farms, on an arid southeastern Colorado prairie in Lincoln County, Colorado. FSA (Farm Services Agency) agent Greg King thinks the land is "Heaven!" It's a rich, vibrant ecosystem of native plants and grasses that has been protected from grazing for decades and has been allowed to exist in a natural state. Colorado farms recently sold the land to a local rancher. ( Photo by DENNIS SCHROEDER / ROCKY NEWS)
