Denver, Colo. shot on 3/9/05) Bantu Somali refugee women dance and sing with their children " The Hokey Pokey". It is for them and their children that they go to Whiteman Elementary school to learn English and parenting skills. The program was setup in a cooperative effort with the school, Emily Griffth Opportunity School and the African Community Center. This is all a part of programs aimed to help these refugees as they adjust to living in America. They are More then 150 Somali Bantu refugees are carving out a life in Denver.
