***CORRECTION PUBLISHED MARCH 15, 2005 FOLLOWS:***; A photo caption on Page 5A Monday should have said that there are believed to be more than 200 Somalian Bantu refugees in the Denver area. (Denver, Colo.shot on 3/2/05) Looking out from a school bus Hakima Mdamani (cq) leaves along with the children back home. A group of Somali Bantu refugees women and their children go to Whiteman Elementary school to learn English and parenting skills. The program was setup in a cooperative effort with the school, Emily Griffth Opportunity School and the African Community Center. This is all a part of programs aimed to help these refugees as they adjust to living in America. (Linda McConnell/Rocky Mountain News) (their names are all hand written by the people)
