(BRUSH, Colo., May 30-31, 2004) Molly and Hanna Nation,8, are identical twins and the eldest great-great grandchildren of Harold giving grandpa a big hug greeting as they head to the back of the house to the pool for a swim the first day it is open for the season. This Memorial Day weekend was significant for Stan. He is a WWII veteran as a pilot and was significant in the acquisition of a memorial headstone honoring a Brush, CO resident who was killed as a serviceman aboard the USS Arizona during the japanese bombing in Pearl Harbor. Today at the Brush Memorial Cemetery this headstone will be dedicated and the memory honored. In addition, the holiday is marked at the Gray home with the annual pool opening inviting all the local relatives to come and enjoy. Harold and Stan Gray are father and son. Harold is 103. Stan is 76. Together they live to make it possible for Harold to remain in his home he purchased over 70 years ago and live the last of his life in the warmth of the sun as long as he can.
