Hurricane Katrina evacuees Enjulie Richard (cq), 3, of Mandeville, La. drags her blanket down the hallway with the rest of the family as they make their way to the t.v. lounge in the dorms Wednesday evening. The rest of the family includes Scott Richard (cq, top), Haylee Richard, 2, (cq, in arms) and Victorie Richard (cq, bottom right). About 250 Hurricane Katrina evacuees are being housed temporarily in a set of dorms on the old Lowry Air Force Base as a result of the efforts of numerous community groups and the Governor's office. An around the clock effort got the neglected dorms into livable shape in time to host the families and individuals with nowhere to call home in the wake of the storm and flooding that destroyed New Orleans and much of the Gulf Coast area. Victorie is pregnant with the couple's third child and is due in two days. (MARC PISCOTTY/ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS) CQ Enjulie Richard, Scott Richard, Haylee Richard and Victorie Richard
