They were in the bleachers supporting the participants. Twenty Six students in the homeroom class of Stephanie Platt (splatt@cherrycreekschools.org)(720-554-2750/303-795-4332)(all infomations and usage confirmations come directly from her on scene) participated in a Valentine's Day Fun Run to raise money to help Tsunami victims. It was all motivated by the students according to Ms. Platt. The students all joined after school on the track, started and all completed the 12 lap run. Pledges were solicited in the total of $1650 and an additional $58 was raised at the bake sale during the run. 12 laps, 3 miles, was representitive to the students of a lap for each of the 12 primary affected countries. ***(I was presented a class list after the run began with the participants from the class. Four names were circled. Each had not been given parental approval. Each of the four names circled were called by each of the participants listed direct to their parents then to Ms. Platt for reference and verified all on the list were okay to be published)*** Campus Middle School, 4785 S.
