(BORMIO, Italy - Shot 2/5/2005) American skiier Bode Miller stood alone atop the podium after the Men's Downhill at the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships Saturday on the Pista Stelvio course in Bormio, Italy. First place finishes have become commonplace for the American skiier as he has dominated a sport that traditionally is the territory of the Austrians. It was arguably the best finish ever for the U.S. Ski Team as American downhillers Bode Miller finished first with a time of 1:56.22 and teammate Daron Rahlves finished second with a time of 1:56.66.
