(BORMIO, Italy - Shot 2/5/2005) Austrian skiier Michael Walchhofer and the rest of the Austrian ski team could only watch on as Americans Bode Miller and Daron Rahlves took first and second place in the Men's Downhill at the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships Saturday on the Pista Stelvio course in Bormio, Italy. It was arguably the best finish ever for the U.S. Ski Team as American downhillers Bode Miller finished first with a time of 1:56.22 and teammate Daron Rahlves finished second with a time of 1:56.66. Walchhofer finished third in the race with a time of 1:57.09. (Photo by MARC PISCOTTY / ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS)
