(Denver, CO., Feb. 11, 2005) Yiran Zang, 7, runs ahead of her second grade class-mates as students at Bromwell Elementary School in Denver march in a dragon parade around the school celebrating the Chinese New Year of the Rooster Friday, February 11, 2005. Thirteen dragons, each 25 ft. long, were made by students in Angela Hottinger's art classes over the last three weeks, part of their studies of the Chinese New Year, which officially began Wednesday, February 9, 2005. The fabric for the dragons was made of curtains that had belonged to a late aunt of Virginia Lew, a parent of two students at the school. Friday evening, the school hosted a multi-cultural event featuring Chinese, Aztec and Latin dancers. (Photo by Hal Stoelzle/Rocky Mountain News)
