She and her husband Andy Walker (cq), who works at NREL, have made great strides to make their home more energy efficient with solar panels on the roof and heat absorbing rocks in the sunroom and have plans to had larger panels to the roof in the future. Twelve Denver area homes will be featured in the Tour of Solar Homes on Saturday October 1, 2005. The tour will show ways to increase the energy efficiency of residential dwellings.
