On Sept 30, 2005, in Iliff, a field of hay is being harvested by wind rower. Irrigation makes the difference between having a crop and dessert vegetation. In 10 years, a river could go into a pipeline to southern front range towns. The pipeline of water will start in the community of Iliff and end in Parker. This pipeline of water would represent a partnership between this small agricultural county of Logan Ct. and the fast growing Douglas County. Gregory Etl County Commissioner of Logan County and farmer worries that future communities might dry up their farms making the difference between green and brown fields.
