21 year resident and electrician, Ernie Thompson, sits on the tail-gate of his truck at the Lamb trailer park in Creede, CO Tuesday September 13, 2005. Thompson supports the development of the Village at Wolf Creek, proposed by billionare B.J. Red McCombs at the base of the Wolf Creek Ski area. The development, 40 miles away, is in Mineral County, the same as Creede. The area has long been starved for jobs and desperately needs new tax revenues to keep up their communities and provide middle class jobs. " When it comes to developing, it's going to happen. We need it to make a living. They should be able to find a middle ground on the environmental impact, but they need to weigh the impact against the benefits, the situation is workable," said Thompson.
