(FOREGROUND LT. TO RT.) Colorado National Guardsmen SSGT. Tim Mullin (CQ), Lakewood, 1LT. Ashkan Angha (CQ), of Boulder, and LT. Garret Rasnick (CQ), of Colorado Springs, leave Chalmette National Cemetery in St. Bernard Parish, LA, Tuesday September 12, 2005, after a day of cleaning debris from Hurricane Katrina. The men wanted to clean the damaged cemetery as a sign of respect for their fellow soldiers. The cemetery, which was established in 1864, is the final resting place for veterans who fought in the war of 1812, Union Soldiers who died in Louisiana during the Civil War, Spanish-American War, WWI, WWII, and Vietnam.
