Robert Mcfarland, 76, of Boulder helps erect 1900 crosses with pictures and names of 1900 solders who have died in Iraq at Camp Casey, an anti war protest site at the corner of Daly St. and Nevada Road in Colorado Springs Tuesday Sept. 20, 2005. " We're making a dumb mistake fighting a war we didn't need to fight. What did Iraq ever do to us?",says McFarland. The display of crosses will be on display for a week at 802 N Nevada Ave. and carry the name, home town and picture of each of the soldiers killed in Iraq. Each evening a music and an original documentary film wil be shown. On saturday, the 24th a rally will begin at noon with speakers and music.
