Students at Bruce Randolph Middle School cheer as teachers at the school are introduced for the first time Monday at the school. The school, which opened in 2002, was one of Denver Public School's most poorly performing schools. The district has "redesigned" the school and new principal Kristin Waters, who used to run one of DPS' best-performing middle schools, has hand-picked her staff and program to make it work. The program called Challenge 2010 is aiming for a 100% graduation rate. Only a few teachers were retained that teached at the school in past years. (MARC PISCOTTY / ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS)
