this is for page 22 A field of daises grows along highway 550 north of Silverton Colorado last week. This is a good wild flower viewing season due to the heavy mountain snow melt run off. I underexposed the over all shot by one stop, laid my camera on the ground pointing up toward the flowers. I than connected my strobe to an off camera cord and set it for a plus one stop exposure. This would give the flowers a bright look while the mountains and sky became darker; creating a dramatic flower photo at high noon. (KEN PAPALEO / ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS)
