B.J. Schumacher (cq), from Wisconsin, is a bull rider who has been on the circuit ffor 9 years. On Sunday, July 24th he was running 8th or 9th in the Cheyenne Frontier Days rodeo, he thought. "I've been hurt a lot, but I am not ready to quit yet. The most I made in one year was $250,000, but I usually earn around $95,000." B.J. has had hip surgery, face surgery, has broken his leg, is arm, his wrist, more than once. But he says he loves to ride bulls and there is nothing else he would rather do. Established in 1897, Cheyenne Frontier Days is the World's Largest Rodeo & Western Celebration. (JUDY WALGREN/THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS) B.J. Schumacher (cq)
