Attorney for Frank Lobato's family Kenneth Padilla talks to reporters after the a press conference and told them he was disappointed that Officer Ford was not fired. The report lays on the table top. Manager of Safety Alvin LaCabe announced Friday 8/5/05 his decision to suspend Officer Ranjan Ford, the officer involved in the deadly shooting of Frank Lobato, for ninety (90) days without pay based on his conclusion that Officer Ford's assessment of the threat posed by Lobato on July 11, 2004, and his subsequent use of force, were not objectively reasonable under the circumstances.
