(DENVER, Colorado April 26, 2004) "Spiderman" Mulholland balances atop the 40-foot flag pole located on the roof of the 10-story Brown Palace Hotel in downtown Denver to secure a new pulley and cable .The flag pole is one of three located on the roof and has been broken for the past six weeks. Due to proper protocol, no flags have been flown on the roof of the 111-year-old hotel since one flag pole cannot be empty. To continue to show support for the US troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, the Brown Palace brought in Spiderman, a former US Marine Corps. repel specialist, to make this repair. As of Monday afternoon, all three American flags will flew again at the hotel. Photo by DENNIS SCHROEDER/ ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS.
