A slurry bomber makes a drop on one of three fires started by lightning in Glade Park, Colorado near Grand Junction Tuesday afternoon June 21, 2005. Three fires started within two miles of each other within hours of lightning strikes from a fast moving storm. Temperatures near 100 made for dry conditions on the western slope of Colorado. The area had previously burned in 2003 . Two of the fires are on BLM land and one was on private lands. The U.S. Forest Service and glade Park firefighters worked to control the fires. Two were put out and one continues to burn (DENNIS SCHROEDER/ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS) **
