Ball engineers who helped build NASA's Deep Impact spacecraft, which is scheduled to collide with Comet Tempel 1 shortly before midnight on July 3 met with reporter Jim Erikson at Ball Aerospace & Technologies in Boulder, Colorado June 17, 2005. Project Manager Phil Henderson (cq) holds the "Impactor" that will be released in the path of the comet. Hopefully the comet will run into it and the information they desire can me accumulated.
