University of Northern Colorado junior Jenean Roberts (cq), 20, sifts through some dirt in the field looking for bits of charcoal and any other artifacts in the field near Walden one afternoon. The University of Northern Colorado archaeology field school is excavating and documenting an approximately 10,000 year-old Paleoindian site where arrow points and stone hunting blinds have been discovered .
