University of Northern Colorado junior Jenean Roberts (cq), 20, sifts through some dirt in the field looking for bits of charcoal and any other artifacts in a field near Walden one afternoon. The University of Northern Colorado archaeology field school is excavating and documenting an approximately 10,000 year-old Paleoindian site where arrow points and stone hunting blinds have been discovered .
