Trevor Brewton (cq), a twelve-year-old insulin dependent diabetic from Aurora, left his $6000 insulin pump in the Puckmasters' hockey rink locker room in Centennial Saturday evening. Trevor's mother Sandy Brewton (cq) says that the pump is so much easier for her son to use then manually administering insulin with injections, which is much less accurate then using the pump and is definitely more painful for the diabetic. The Brewton's cannot afford another pump, as their other son is also diabetic and insurance only will cover half of the cost of the stolen pump, as well. The family maintains that if whoever has the pump will return it there will be no charges pressed against them and no questions asked. Sandy and Trevor Brewton were photographed in Trevor's bedroom on July 18, 2005. Above the bed are Trevor's ice hockey medals.
