Mark Cohen (cq) works on some trim work at the Crossroads Outreach Center, near Myrtle and College in Ft. Collins Sunday morning , October 23, 2005. He's Lacy miller's step-father. In the nearly three years since his daughter's brutal death, Hehas helped his wife Wendy Cohen , become a community activist. She used Lacy's death --- at the hands of a police impersonator --- to change state laws, creating stonger penalties for police impersonators. Now, she's renovating the property to build an outreach center for Crossroads Safehouse, a battered women's shelter. The center will be built in honor of Lacy.
