Jeslyn Zheng, 1, of Denver, looks at books in the children's section at the Schlessman Family Branch Library at 100 Poplar St., at the corner of 1st Ave. and Quebec on October 13, 2005. She and her three-year old twin brothers come to the library about 1-2 times per week. "More than half of Denver's libraries will be open fewer hours next year under Mayor John Hickenlooper's proposed budget. Most cuts are an hour or less, but the library that would take the biggest hit -- a reduction of 22 hours a week -- is the Schlessman Family Branch Library near Aurora. Overall, the mayor proposes reducing library hours by 46.5 a week." (Quoted part taken directly from assignment). (ELLEN JASKOL/ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS) ***Jeslyn Zheng (mom)
