Sabina Kohler (cq), 32, originally from Slovenia in eastern Europe, is sworn in as a U.S. citizen at the Denver Central Library during a naturalization ceremony on October 27, 2005. She and over 100 other new citizens, representing 55 nations, took the oath of allegiance in the main hall of the library, "I love everything about this country," she said. "People have been good to me. It's just amazing." Sabina's husband, an American, Paul Kohler, is in the National Guard and is training in Pennsylvania to become an army medic, and couldn't attend the ceremony. They live in Aurora with their son, Luka Kohler, 19 months old. At right is Mamoudou Sissoko (cq) , from Mali in West Africa, and lives in Denver.
