Arborist Charley Wagner (cq), 26, with Swingle Lawn, Tree and Landscape Care, swings from a limb of a 96-foot cottonwood tree that he is cutting down in the front yard of former Denver Post reporter Ginny Mckibben Wednesday morning, October 26, 3005. McKibben was killed several weeks ago when a branch fell from the tree. Swingle, a tree cutting company has offered to cut the tree down for free. Neighbors said McKibben could not afford to cut it down. Wagner is a nationally-renown and award-winning arborist. Terry Schroder (cq) with Swingle, said the tree was filled with decayed pockets, making the limbs weak and prone to further breakage.
