For the Ref C and D Project: Shot on 10/4/2005 - Copper Mesa Elementary School first grade teacher Christine Capocelli (cq) starts up a group of iBooks for lesson time. She also has a remote microphone that is attached to speakers in the classroom to help students who are hard of hearing originally, but after using it for a few months, the principal have decided to mic all of the classrooms as it is easier for the children to hear the teacher and the teacher does not have to talk to loudly. Copper Mesa is a brand new elementary school in Highlands Ranch with a very high tax base to draw from for funds. Having said that, they still only have eight books per student and most of the books they do have were either donated or bought with funds that the school raised itself.
