A mansion atop a foothill in the town of Santiago Papasquiaro, Durango in Mexico looks over the dry fields in the valley, which have been plagued by drought for the past 12 years, Thursday May 19, 2005. Papasquiaro is one of the many towns inhabited by alleged cop killer Raul Garcia-Gomez's family. Migration from Papasquiaro to the United States has been high due to job loss caused by a drought and deforestation. The lack of jobs has also made the town a hub for drug trafficking from the Sierra Madre Occidental. Garcia-Gomez is being sought for the murder of Denver Police Detective Donald Young. (MARIA J.
