EPA scientist Weston Wilson, 59 (cq), outside the Alfred A. Arraj United States Courthouse in downtown Denver on May 19, 2005. Wilson has irritated EPA higher-ups with his whistleblowing ways. He went public recently with concerns that the EPA hasn't adequately studied how a certain type of oil and gas drilling might contaminate groundwater. Since then, he's been removed from his unit and placed in another position. (ELLEN JASKOL/ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS) ***Weston Wilson (cq)
