The Commerce City 40th Annual Memorial Day Parade was held on May 30, 2005 and at least 8000 people were expected to watch it, making it Colorado's largest Memorial Day Parade. The weather was chilly, but that did not keep the people away. Savannah Ford (cq), 9, Shelby Ford (cq), 12, the daughters of Commerce City Mayor Sean Ford, and their cousin Amber Heartz (cq) try to stay warm as the wind picked up near the end of the parada.
