HGTV DREAM HOUSE. May 25, 2005. Tina Galgon-Herr (cq), lays on a blanket with her daughter, Talia, 5 months old, on the stained concrete floor of their new house. The floor has one coat of "cola" colored stain on it, and Christopher will be spraying another coat of "cola" stain later that night, and then he'll spray a layer of black over that, before applying sealer, which should make the color deeper. The Herrs didn't get a certificate of occupancy, because Boulder County land planners have concerns with the hillside above the driveway. This causes a last-minute delay in the loan closing, and the Herrs are concerned that it will take more money to remedy the hillside. The Boulder County land planners will be coming out to the site the following day to assess the situation, and to let the Herrs know what they have to do.
