(DENVER, Colo., April 11, 2005) Chris Raley (cq Raley from subject) does engine detailing to check line hone or alignment of bores of the crankshaft. He is in the back engine room. Jerry Robertson has been dominating local auto racing tracks for years. However, now he will step up to the big leagues entering his car driven by his son Darren, 18, in the NASCAR Bush Series. They are off this day to Phoenix, AZ to test for an upcoming race with a race this weekend in Texas. The shop is the Furniture Row Racing Team, 4000 Forest St. and until recently was a vacant building. Now it houses all aspects of the backside of racing getting a car or cars ready to hit the tracks around the country. Typically they try to stay a month ahead of their racing schedule so they may be racing in June but they are preparing for July tracks and specifications. All information from Jerry Robertson on scene. **(Initially denied, permission was obtained from Jerry to the owner of the organization to photograph details in the engine room off limits to most humans)** (Photo by STEVEN R NICKERSON / ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS)
