U.S. Forest Service employee Justin Anderson (cq )examines an Englemann spruce tree west of the Ophir Creek campground in the San Isabel Forest in the Wet Mountains on June 27, 2007. He is checking the area for safety hazards and spruce beetles infestation. The tree was one of hundreds blown down June 6, 2007. The Forest Service is evaluating and mitigating the area for safety, and spruce beetles infestation. Road FS 369 to access the Greenhorn Wilderness area will continue to be blocked for several more weeks until trees on the road and widow makers in public access are can be cut.
