Camille Duncan,8, took her painting seriously as well as her new designer paint on skin outfit. She liked to dribble the paint on the canvas and loved the variety of colors available. Carlos Michael Finn, local astoundingly brilliant painter, offered his studio in downtown Denver, Colo., as a classroom for youngsters to put their first oil to canvas. From 4-6pm Monday, May 9, 2005, three kids laid canvas on the floor and learned to put in background color then gently add bright pirmary colors coupled with good ideas of their favorite subjects, usually animals, to make a finished painting. ChalkBoard is the goal. Five participating artists who show at Metro Frameworks 44T Artspace, 44th and Tennyson Sts. Denver, Colo., each offered a class with different students and the end result being each participant will get their canvas framed and hung in the ChalkBoard show opening May 20-31. Wine and Kool-aid served at the opening Friday, May 20th, 5-8pm.
