Adams County resident Wayne Muhler's Iberian horses on his property on April 25, 2005. He and his neighbor, Mike Lloyd, are alleging that the company is committing massive violations along the Platte River where its operations are and that the state mining board is doing nothing to stop it. They are concerned that when Aggregate Industries begins a new gravel pit near both of their properties, that the company will not do reclamation on it when they are done, and the land is visible from their property. They say reclamation can include re-grading the banks so they are not so steep and dangerous, and allowing water to fill up into the pits to create a recreation area. (ELLEN JASKOL/ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS). ***Wayne Muhler (cq), Mike Lloyd (cq), Aggregate Industries (sign).
