(05/02/2005, Denver, CO) Rachel (cq), 17, was at school at North High School when she got off on the wrong path and started ditching with her then boyfriend. After a series of events, her aunt ended up taking her out of school and telling her that she was going to have to go to work in the real world. Rachel got a job at Heidi's Brooklyn Deli at 32nd and Lowell in Northwest Denver, where she likes her job, but she found that it does not beat going to school. She said, "I want to be a student right now, not a grown-up yet - I am still a little kid!" Rachel is now enrolled to go to the Contemporary Learning Academy this summer to make up for the time she lost this semester and will go back to North the following semester.
