Denver Police Department technician Joseph Huebner (right) points to the spot where he recovered the body of a male Tuesday from Cherry Creek. Denver Police and Fire responded to a report of a male, possibly homeless, face down in Cherry Creek at Speer Blvd. near the 13th Ave. overpass Tuesday April 26, 2005. Witnesses said the man had fallen in and floated face down about 250 feet down river until being pulled out by officers. Officers at the scene said the man had no identification on him and there were reports of the man being pronounced DOA after being transported to the hospital. (Note: The other guy was a detective I believe who didn't want to be IDed) (MARC PISCOTTY / ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS)
