(DENVER, Colo., 1/4/2005) Senator Norma Anderson (R) South Jefferson County owned KBJ Stables, a horse boarding buiness, for 35 years but doesn't even own a single horse anymore because, "it became too much work for just me". Anderson was the first female majority leader in both houses and has served in the legislature for 18 years (12 in the House and six in the Senate). (Photo by MARC PISCOTTY / ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS)
