After being tranquilized by the Colorado Department of Wildlife, a sleepy 400+ pound bruin lies on Hyman Street in front of the Propector Condominiums Saturday afternoon September 25, 2004. The beast invaded the cupboards of the Popcorn Wagon and The Colony devouring ten pounds of cocoa mix making him sick and lethargic. DOW district wildlife manager Kelly Wood said the girth of the bruins chest was 54 inches taking to the top of the charts at over 400 pounds. Aspen Times photo/Paul Conrad.
