(BOULDER, Colo., September 28, 2004) Mara Meaney-Ervin, (cq-Mara Meaney-Ervin from the subject) 17, senior, New Vista High School, Boulder, CO, was nervous but braved the idea and talked with Mr. Salazar expressing her support and that of her classmates not to mention her nervousness at speaking to an important person. She got fine attention from Mr. Salazar showing the victory sign in response to all her energy. Ken Salazar, Colorado Attorney General and U.S. Senate candidate, met today with a University of Colorado-Boulder class and led a campaign student rally discussing his "Hope for America" plan making higher education more accessible to all Americans and the additional importance of political participation and activism among college students.
