(DENVER, Co., SHOT 9/30/2004) On the 45 minute bus ride to Northridge High School for that night's game Silver Creek High School's Michael Crabbs (laying down, in red), 18, a senior starting linebacker sleeps along with teammates and trainers. Despite a big game against rival Northridge High School in a 3A showdown at Northridge High School in Greeley the team didn't seem to let the pressure of a big game get the best of them instead opting to catch a little bit of shuteye on the ride. Silver Creek is a four year old school in Longmont that was placed in the competitive Tri-Valley League with powerhouses like Niwot, Berthoud and Northridge, schools with a football tradition and history of winning. Silver Creek won Thursday night's game in a tight battle 12-7 giving them a leg up in the battle for postseason play in their league. They are now 3-2 on the season and 3-1 in conference.
