(DENVER, Co., SHOT 9/28/2004) Members of the Colorado School of the Deaf and Blind gather in the school's locker room in a show of unity before taking to the field to play Front Range Christian from Littleton. Both coaches for the team are hearing-impaired and the players and coaches communicate with one another by sign language. All team members have at least a degree of hearing loss and are aided in the snap count by a large drum to help with the cadence on the snap count. They fought hard all game long, even into the fourth quarter when they were down 42-0, but fell to Front Range Christian 48-12. (Photo by MARC PISCOTTY / ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS)
