(DENVER, Co., SHOT 9/24/2004) The Idalia Wolves huddle up during a game against the Otis Bulldogs as they play a game of 6 man football Friday night September 24, 2004 at Otis High School. The games truly are a community event with someone in the stands jokingly saying, "I think the entire town of Idalia is here". The school's volleyball team usually plays before the football team takes the field and the two communities eat together in the school. Idalia, a tiny Eastern Colorado Plains town, has won the 6 man football champion four of the past six years and runners up the other two. The high school has 38 students and only four boys in the school don't play on the football team. Six man football is played in a number of small Colorado towns because there simply aren't enough kids to field an 11 man team. (Photo by MARC PISCOTTY / ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS)
