(Cortez, CO. - SHOT 5/18/2004) World War II veteran Leroy Crawn, 77, of Cortez served as an engineer and artillery man in the Marines and was stationed in Okinawa. Crawn is showing off a ring given to him by his brother-in-law (who was also in the Marines) that he wore through all of World War II and to this day.
