Jim Kennedy, 83, is one of only about five remaining Army divers from World War II. He was one of the men who helped clear the harbors and rivers of Europe after the retreating German a Amy sank ships to try and thwart the allies advance. After the war, he re-enlisted in the Army Air Force and became an aerial photographer, helping to map out Europe. He also helped install cameras that recorded one of the atomic bomb tests on Bikini Island. (AHMAD TERRY /ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS)
